Carving

So this year the girls wanted to try something different. Instead of printing out their pumpkin templates to carve, they wanted to freehand it. Kayla knew she wanted a regular jack o' latern and Theresa had picked out the white pumpkin specifically to make a ghost. I gave them the pen and let them at it.

Kayla's cutie jack o' lantern

Theresa's scary zombie ghost. It was all her idea to add the lines. They watched Coral!ne the other day and so I guess that's where she got the idea.

We bought mini pumpkins at the pumpkin patch and the girls insisted on carving them. Judging from the above pumpkins, I'm sure you can guess who's is who's.

My owl pumpkin!

Happy Halloween!!!

Pumpkin Patch!

Daddy was working this morning so I took the girls to the pumpkin patch. We go to the same place every year and love it because it's at a church and it's right down the road from our house.

We picked our pumpkins and decided to wait for Daddy to come home to help with the carving!

Back to School

Well our fun summer is over and it's time for a new school year. We met the girls' teachers at Open House......

.......and then two days later, it was off to school we go. For the first time ever, we had no tears from Theresa...all WEEK!! Uh-MAZING!!!

Here's to a FANTASTIC year!!!!

FINALLY!!!

So one of the most exciting things this summer was Mike finally graduated from Law School. It was a great, emotional day for me. All his hard work had paid off and I was so incredibly proud of him to see him walk that stage. My sister was awesome to take pictures for us throughout the day.

After graduation, he spent all his days studying for the Bar exam that he took at the end of July. After the intense three days of testing were over, he felt really good about it so now it's just a waiting game until November when we find out the results. *fingers crossed*

Wowzers!

Well I tried to update the blog during school. Fail.

I'm back now (until summer school starts) and boy am I excited to have a few weeks off! Lots of exciting things are happening around here and I can't wait to share.

One of the lesser exciting things is I have been moving things from here to there in our house and I am busting at the seams with new ideas. In my free time in the last few days, I've been on many, MANY design blogs. I'm in the middle of about 5 projects and I'll be sure to post pics when I'm done. So exciting!!

Happy to have some free time!

Halloween

*sigh*
Theresa didn't want to wear her white shoes which is why she's being dramatic in the above picture. Doesn't she know SuperGirl is NOT a crybaby?! Especially over SHOES?!?!?

Kayla, through gritted teeth, is asking if we can leave Theresa at home while she goes Trick or Treating.

Finally.
As you can see, we had an AWESOME Halloween night.
Girls....
Can we have ONE drama free night?? PUL-EAZE?!
